Home-Based Services Program

Mid-Del Youth & Family Center offers this valuable program for Medicaid eligible children and their biological and/or foster families, at absolutely NO COST to those families. In this program, home-based Individual and/or Family Therapy are provided with the option of having services also provided at the child's school during the academic school year. This unique, specialized service allows the therapist to work with the child and/or their family within the families own environment and individual dynamics. This unique form of service delivery makes access to services easier for children and their families.

Benefits of Home-Based Services Program:

  • Services available to all Medicaid eligible children and their families
  • Services provided at home, school, and/or at the therapist's office
  • Services provided in the client's own unique environments, and tailored to meet the client's individual needs.
  • No cost to Medicaid eligible children and their family
  • Flexible scheduling to meet the child's and families needs

*In addition to therapy services, Rehabilitation services are also available. Often confused with Mentoring Programs, this program actually utilizes Bachelor level Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Specialists (BHRS) to assist children in enhancing their social and interaction skills so that they can interact more effectively with family, peers, and school staff.

Counseling and class fees are charged on a sliding scale basis, but services will not be denied if there is an inability to pay.
