First Offender Program

Mid-Del Youth & Family offers this adolescent group program to help prevent youth from entering, or further penetrating the juvenile justice system. The program is a parent/child-centered program designed to equip youth to handle difficult decisions in a healthy, functional manner. We offer a fourteen-hour program that is divided up into seven sessions of 2 hours each. The program consist of an education-style group that includes various exercises that invite youth to examine the decisions they make and how these decisions might affect their lives.

  • Anger Management
  • Problem Solving
  • Values and decision making
  • Peer Pressure

The First Offender Program is for adolescents ages 12-17 and is 7 weeks long. A parent is required to attend with their child. The fee for the First Offender Program is $7.00 per session for a total of $49.00.

Counseling and class fees are charged on a sliding scale basis, but services will not be denied if there is an inability to pay.

Mid-Del is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service. as a private non-profit 501(c)(3) agency. Donations accepted.
